Research
To research and understand.
Research is a space for questions, observation, analysis and new models of understanding.
We study people, education, culture, space, society and processes of change through their connections, rather than in isolation.
Interdisciplinary by design.
RESCIE's research is interdisciplinary by design.
Where a single discipline cannot capture a phenomenon's real complexity, we bring together pedagogy and psychology, cultural studies and geography, social sciences, creative practices and approaches to sustainable development.
Interdisciplinarity is not a separate area; it is a principle underlying all RESCIE research.
Research areas
Research areas are sustained domains of inquiry. Projects can span several areas; the relationship between an area and a project is not a rigid academic classification.
